Schley County Centennial Photos - 1957

Harry Collins
Centennial Chairman

The Schley County, Georgia Centennial Celebration was held in Ellaville, Georgia in 1957. Some 300 plus digitized images shown in these pages are from an album that was given to Tommy Barnes by the Collins Family and in the possession of Wilbur and Vickie Justice. A majority of the plastic pages were cracked, turning to liquid or just otherwise not in good condition. Approximately 20 painstaking hours were required just to remove the liquid from the photos. After cleaning, the photos were digitized and then the placed in new plastic envelopes/pages and assembled into a new album and returned to the Justices.
